In the CMS, go to ADMIN and then WEBSITE SETTINGS to get to the website settings area.
Some of the information that you enter into the website settings area can be output anywhere you would like in the website.
This is useful for information that is repeated, like the name of the website and perhaps your address.
To output these special variables in your website, you have to place them into the code view of a page or template.
Note that these variables are output with pairs of curly brackets.
